NBA is set to limit sportsbooks' usage of official data feed

In a move that is most likely to distort some specific types of betting on the finals, the NBA has plans to do away with all uncertified and Sports Betting unlicensed sportsbooks from being able to get to the league's official information feed beginning this week. SportRadar, a certified and  licensed information supplier  for the NBA, sent a letter on Thursday letting the  sportsbook operators know that the league was compelling  it to "stop  availing  to you the NBA Official information for usage in the United States not until and are certified Gaming Manipulator of the NBA." Regarding that letter, gotten by ESPN, Sports Betting SportRadar will close down the ability to reach and access the data feed at precisely 11:59 p.m.

ET on Tuesday. The first Game of the Finals will take place on Thursday. The NBA has joined hands with three other sportsbook operators: MGM, The Stars Group and FanDuel Stars. As the official league gaming partners, those bookmaking organizations have unlimited access to the authentic and official information feed.
